The Test:

Adding a clickable announcement bar based on heatmap and survey data.

The Goal:

To increase revenue per session on our clients store.

The Why:

Heatmap data revealed that many users were attempting to click the announcement bar at the top of our clients website, even though it was not clickable. We coupled this with post purchase survey data highlighting what customers saw as our most compelling unique selling proposition (USP).

The What

We hypothesized that making the announcement bar clickable and featuring a high-value USP could enhance user engagement. We went a step further by directing clicks on this bar to our high-ticket bundles rather than single product collection pages. The goal was to direct customer attention to higher-margin items while providing value through the USP, thereby improving both engagement and average order value.
